ALS from Mary Lamb to Lady Stoddart (who wrote for magazines as "Mrs. Blackford"), followed on the same sheet by an ALS from Charles Lamb to Sir John. Both Lambs write about their adopted daughter Emma Isola, whom they are educating to be a governess, and about the Stoddarts' children and mutual friends. Mary inquires about the progress of Lady Stoddart's next work.
